Unheeded Warning - By Stephen A. Fredrick, a courageous American Eagle pilot, who was willing to sacrifice his job so the public could be informed about the dangers of the ATR turbo-prop aircraft.  It explains, in great detail, why passengers should avoid flying on the ATR airliners when the weather makes aircraft icing more likely . This book is highly recommended by the Editor of AirlineSafety.Com.

Aviation Disasters (2nd edition) - A book by David Gero that chronicles more than 230 airline catastrophes worldwide since 1950, providing meticulous detail.

Flights of Terror - Another book by David Gero that concentrates on various types of hostile action committed against commercial aircraft, from the earliest days of air travel to the present.

Military Aviation Disasters - David Gero.  Probably the most comprehensive work on this subject, dealing with accidents from 1908 to 1998.  Hard cover, 176 pages, with world-wide photographs.
